Torsten Gerwien joined Experian Business Information Solution as Vice President of Decision Science in January 2006. As the head of this group, he is responsible for managing all analytics and modeling that are focused on the commercial sector. Having held several positions as a credit risk officer, Torsten has a unique background and over 25 years within the commercial risk optimization discipline. Most recently, Torsten was with Citigroup managing a $1.1 billion commercial credit card portfolio that included small business, middle market, and large companies. Prior to that, he held Chief Risk Officer positions with a number of companies that ranged in size from smaller community banking to large international financial institutions. These financial institutions include Illini Bank, Fidelity Investments, and Westpac Banking Corp in Australia and the US.
